Urso-X – High-Performance Bioactive Ursolic Acid
Urso-X is a new, natural anabolic compound that triggers muscle growth, enhances muscle strength, stops muscle catabolism, and speeds body-fat loss.
It’s very rare that a new discovery in the world of performance-enhancing supplements comes about. Urso-X is that new discovery.
Very recent research has identified the key compound in Urso-X – ursolic acid – as a novel bioactive substrate that has potent anabolic (muscle-building) and anti-catabolic (prevents muscle breakdown) properties. This research also discovered that ursolic acid produces powerful fat-burning effects.
Adding Urso-X to your training program will allow you to build more muscle faster, make greater strength gains more rapidly, and get leaner quicker.
How Urso-X was discovered and developed . . .
Muscle wasting is a serious ailment that affects our aging population. The older you get the less muscle your body wants to hang on to. In fact, after a certain age, you naturally lose muscle each and every year. This is simply an inescapable biological function of aging.
Illness is also a major contributor to muscle wasting. One of the biggest challenges doctors face with patients recovering from surgery or illness is the loss of healthy, lean muscle mass. Even the slightest stress from the simplest surgeries lead to muscle loss. And up until now, there was no pharmaceutical or natural compound to specifically address these catabolic effects. It’s this critical condition that lead to the discovery and development of Urso-X.
A research team at the University of Iowa set out to find the elusive answer to muscle loss under certain conditions. They first worked to identify the gene activity that occurs during muscle loss and weakening conditions. Their research identified 63 different genes that changed during a fasting state in humans and another 29 genes that shift their expression during this deprived state.
With this knowledge, the researchers then compared those gene expression signatures to the signatures of cells treated with more than 1300 different bioactive molecules. Through a painstaking process of one by one elimination, the researchers identified ursolic acid as a compound with effects that could counteract muscle catabolism and promote muscle growth. They discovered the anabolic/anti-catabolic compound.
After identifying ursolic acid through computer models, it was time to study the real-world effects. The researchers next gave ursolic acid to starved mice. This study clearly showed that ursolic acid had anti-catabolic effects and could protect against muscle loss and weakening as the computer models predicted. The starved mice fed ursolic acid lost significantly less muscle than the control mice (those not receiving ursolic acid) in the study.
Muscle Growth – From Powerful Anti-Catabolic to Powerful Anabolic . . .
To follow up the first study researchers sought to confirm ursolic acid’s anabolic potential. When ursolic acid was added to the food of normal mice for a period of 5 weeks, their muscles grew significantly greater and faster. A five-week course of ursolic acid resulted in 15% greater muscle growth than the control mice not consuming ursolic acid. And the mice getting the ursolic acid grew measurably stronger than the control mice. Scientists confirmed through muscle biopsies and microscopic analysis that actual muscle fiber thickening had occurred – muscle hypertrophy. Bigger, stronger – faster.
The Anti-Catabolic Science . . .
Digging deeper into the science, the researchers discovered that ursolic acid decreased the activity of the catabolic genes MuRF-1 and Atrogin-1 in the muscle cells. These are two of the most potent genes associated with catabolic (muscle-breakdown) activity in muscle. Ursolic acid has a dramatic effect on reducing catabolic activity in muscle cells by decreasing the activity of the genes responsible for muscle breakdown.
The Anabolic Science . . .
The researchers also discovered that the activity of the gene for IGF-1 (Insulin Growth Factor 1) increased and the concentration of IGF-1 in the blood also increased. IGF-1 is one of the body’s most potent anabolic hormones and ursolic acid increased the activity of the gene and blood level concentrations.
Ursolic acid triggers the key anabolic hormones responsible for muscle growth.
Another key anabolic effect centers around ursolic acid’s effect on molecular signaling molecules. Ursolic acid “switched on” the receptors for IGF-1, Akt, and S6K. This molecular signaling activity leads to an increase in protein synthesis and cell proliferation.
Ursolic acid is a potent bioactive compound that literally works through multiple pathways to turn off muscle breakdown and turn on muscle growth.
And it doesn’t stop there . . .
In the studies, ursolic acid also reduced the fat cells’ emission of leptin, the concentrations of triglycerides and cholesterol, and even fasting glucose levels. All of these are positive effects for reducing body fat accumulation.
So what does all this science mean for you . . .
Urso-X just might be the most significant muscle-growth enhancing compound to come along in decades. It certainly has serious scientific credentials that are sure to grow in volumes as more in-depth research is conducted. But you can reap the muscle-building rewards now!
A natural substrate found in several herbs and fruits, Urso-X works on multiple genetic signaling pathways that trigger the most potent biological activities for lean muscle growth, increased strength, and accelerated fat loss.
Adding Urso-X to your training program will put you on a sure-fire path for faster muscle growth, more strength, and accelerated fat loss.
How to take Urso-X . . .
Each capsule of Urso-X contains 75 milligrams of bioactive ursolic acid. Take two (2) capsules three (3) times a day with meals. Continue for 6 weeks followed by 1 to 2 weeks off. Repeat cycle.
